Ouch, I turn this site on and the first thing that I see is this horrible, cheesy picture of Will and I. It seems like common sense would say that you don't post bad pictures of yourself for everyone to see.... oh well.
There is not terribly much to report, life pretty much stays the same around here. However perhaps everyone would like to know that for the first time in nearly 6 months, we had an uninterupted night of sleep. Write it down, Monday February 20th, Madison slept all night. When I woke up Tuesday morning I looked at Will and asked him if he got up that night, he then asked me the same. So, as best we can tell, she slept all night.... Or I suppose there is the posibility that we just were so tired we did not hear her... But I am pretty sure, she just never woke up.

Madison has been doing all kinds of new things. She consistently rolls from her tummy to her back and will not stay there... I keep telling her she will have to hang out on her tummy to ever crawl, but she doesn't listen, go figure. She can sit up by herself for brief periods but then tips forwards or to the side... I often prop her up in the clothes basket for practice. And, she is now eating oatmeal with bananas and sorbet, dont ask. We hit the 6 month mark March 1st and will then start veggies of the yellow variety, carrots, squash, etc.... Oh yummy. Truly, she is sleeping very well, thanks to Will and I reading every book ever written on the subject, she now naps 3 or sometimes 4 times a day and generally only wakes once at night. Will and I are totally in love with her, she really is fun to be around (now that the colic is long gone) and is just a curious, funny baby who lights up the room.
Not muuch new to report around here. February has been a cold month; the days have been a bit gray and it gets into the low 40's at night. Now I know my friends Damon & Heidi in Alaska, and probably everyone else to, laugh at us, but Will and I have become very thin blooded living here. Although we will most likely be leaving San Diego in the next year and a half, we joke about how we will go anywhere else.
March is going to be an exciting month for us. Will's parents are goint to visit, along with Uncle Van, hopefully our friends Shannon and Tony from Japan, Bonnie and Nicky will be down for soccer and then Ryan will be stopping as he passes through! So, if anyone else wants to come, we would love to have you.
Enjoy the rest of the week and we are thinking about you all.

Much Love,
Shelly, Will & Madison

Monumental, I wrote it down as you suggested.
Low 40's! You are just rubbing it in for us non-San Diegoans. I keep telling Damon we should move to California - especially if 'cold' is 40's.
Madison is adorable.
